I’ve been thinking about this sentences. They seem to be quite difficult for beginners like me.

1.- His ambition is to fly
2.- My cat’s favourite activity is sleeping
3.- All you have to do is connect a external drive

I tried to find a pattern, but I didn’t get. May be is the meaning.
